The series was a real ensemble effort with Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger, George Wendt, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson, Kirstie Alley and Shelley Long as principal actors.

For the Rotten Tomatoes annual Fall TV survey, thousands of our users have asked what they most look forward to in the coming season of TV and to reflect on the best series from previous seasons.

A Happy Cheers Cheers ‘O’Lary! Rotten Tomatoes users chose the show about a bar where everyone knows your name and they always happy you came as the top show of the 1980s. The series was truly an ensemble effort with Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger, George Wendt, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson, Kirstie Alley and Shelley Long as main cast members.

There was top position from Cheers with 66% of the vote. Next was The Cosby Show with 53%, The Golden Girls at 47%, Magnum, P.I. With 46% and the 1980 Sunday Night Live 80s edition the fifth place with 45%.
