The effortlessness and, let’s face it, face-filtering-capabilities of cell phone photo-snapping has meant that film photography has taken a back seat over the past few decades. To counter this, and to celebrate film’s beautiful imperfection and hard-to-beat aesthetic, HHV has teamed up with music producer and photographer Tom Doolie via its Click Clique collective to produce a capsule of exclusive print photos and T-shirts.
If you’re not familiar with Tom Doolie – his multidisciplinary portfolio spans the creative fields of music, production, and photography, specializing in making hip hop instrumentals and taking film-roll photos. Having bought his very first vinyl from Berlin-based streetwear retailer HHV, this collab has been a long time coming. It makes sense that he’s also the first partner in HHV’s Click Clique collab series, a camera collective and platform through which HHV and its community can exchange creativity and inspiration.
Titled “SMWHERE, SMTIME”, Tom has selected three of his photographs for the project, which have been turned into printed T-shirts and framed pieces. The six items are available individually and as box sets, exclusively at HHV.
HHV has been busy of late, also launching its basics collection recently; a range of timeless and durable staples spanning tees, hoodies, and crewnecks in organic cotton, made in Portugal. You’ll find them below.
