Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released its first non-exclusive clip from “Batman: Death in the Family,” the first approach to interactive storytelling by WBHE. It allows fans to choose where the story is through an innovative navigation controlled by the viewer’s remote control.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released its first non-exclusive clip from “Batman: Death in the Family,” WBHE’s first ever approach to interactive storytelling, allowing fans to choose where the story is through an innovative navigation led by the viewer’s remote control. Central to the extended short is an adaptation of the landmark DC event “Batman: A Death in the Family” from 1988 where fans voted in phone to determine the ending of the story.
The clip below features the stylized opening title sequence to the animated short, which was created by writer/producer/director Brandon Vietti and was directed by Warner Bros. technical director Matt Girardi and his team. Animation
Warner Bros. produced production. Anthology of animated shorts from 2019-2020 including “Sgt. The set will be available from WBHE on Blu-ray and Digital from October 13 to 2020.
Interactive component is only on Blu-ray. The digital version of “Batman: Death in the Family” offers four fully played out linear versions of the short.
