Jon Jones was UFC’s greatest light-heavyweight champion of all time. Jones a decision earlier this year to vacate his belt and go up to heavyweight. Jones was not ready to put the light-heavyweight division behind him so fast. Jones tweeted the Co-Maid event between Jan Bachowicz and Dominick Reyes live on Twitter.
Jones defeated Reyes in his final title defence in a controversial split decision at UFC 247. Jones continued to describe how Blachowicz found success and continuously landed.
Jones wanted to make sure every person on Twitter knew that Blachowicz broke Reyes nose in the final sequence. Jones continued to shoot Reyes, whom Jones is obviously not a fan of.
While Jones’ initial Twitter anger appeared only to be with Reyes. He may have been going after some coded shots at Blachowicz to make his point, however, after the new light-heavyweight champion called him out after the fight.
Rather than congratulating Blachowicz on his play-by-play performance, Jones decided to complete his play-by-play performance.
Despite having traded feuds with current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, Jones was not available to watch his bout against Paulo Costa. Taking all the bad decisions Jones made in his personal life, maybe we should also celebrate his decision to get in New Mexico before midnight local time and stay out of trouble.
