I note that is has been nearly ten months since my last Ideas Showcase article.

In that time, these fourteen budding LEGO Ideas designers have made contact with me to help promote their LEGO product Ideas (as they are known).

I am always interested in your thoughts about which projects do you like.

Read on as I add my comments of these worthy Ideas projects.

221B Baker Street from Sherlock (BBC)

By angleshikitty

221B Baker Street is synonymous as the famous address of Sherlock Holmes.

This modular building is based on the BBC drama TV series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous Sherlock Holmes detective stories.

The interior is decorated with completed furniture to recreate scenes in the drama. In order to increase playability, the model is hinged in a few places.

This is Angleshikitty’s only Ideas project.

This Ideas project has reached 1,000 Supporters and has just under ten months to reach the next milestone 5,000 Supporters.

Rock Raiders Ultimate Collector’s Series Loader Dozer

By pacific bricks

Rock Raiders Ultimate Collector’s Series Loader Dozer represents an Ultimate Collector’s Series version of one of Pacific Brick’s childhood sets. The Loader Dozer is from the classic Rock Raiders theme.

Pacific Bricks has two Ideas projects active. Both have reached over 1,000 Supporters.

Rock Raiders has only just reached 1,000 Supporters and has just under a year to reach the next milestone: 5,000 Supporters.

Snoopy and Woodstock: Comic Legends

By mickeyD0715

I grew up reading the iconic Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz and Snoopy was one of my favourite characters in those stories.

Mickey D0715 has tried his best to replicate the key details of these two iconic characters – Snoopy and Woodstock – and the dog house that they so often occupied.

This is the only active Ideas project that Mickey D0715 has running at the moment. It has just under 1,000 Supporters and I can see it reaching the 1,000 Supporters milestone very soon.

The Wizard of Oz

By legodud9898

The Wizard of Oz is a 1939 American musical fantasy film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time.

LEGO Dud9898 captures the essence of The Wizard of Oz and the yellow brick road in this Ideas project.

It has ten days to achieve an extra 330 Supporters to get to the 1,000 Supporter milestone.

Symphony Orchestra

By PieceOnEarth

Orchestras perform a variety of music that many people love and enjoy, ranging from classical masterpieces to iconic movie soundtracks.

As a musician and someone who loves LEGO, PieceOnEarth was inspired to design a buildable Symphony Orchestra.

This Ideas project has a solid 2,000 Supporters with over 450 days to get to the next milestone: 5,000 Supporters.

Johnny Thunder Returns! (The Rover Expedition)

By arselus

Johnny Thunder Is back!

Join Johnny and his daring team: Pippin Reed, Dr. Kilroy, quartermaster Captain Singh, and faithful assistant Hershey, as they embark on an adventurous expedition around the globe in their all-terrain vehicles.

This set was inspired by the classic car designs of LEGO’s Adventurers line.

Arselus has several Ideas projects active that are sitting at several hundred Supporters.

This Ideas project is Arselus’ most popular project. At just over 600 Supporters, it has just under ten months to run to achieve the next milestone: 1,000 Supporters.

Nikola Tesla’s Laboratory

By wildbearbricks

Wild Bear Bricks is excited to share with you his minifigure-scale diorama of Nikola Tesla’s Laboratory in Colorado Springs, circa 1900.

This iconic image of Nikola Tesla calmly sitting in a chair reading a book with high voltage electricity flashing around him served as inspiration for this build. Wild Bear Bricks is fascinated by the life and accomplishments of Nikola Tesla and wanted to bring that to LEGO.

It is difficult to estimate the impact that Nikola Tesla has had on modern society. He was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.

With 992 Supporters, I am confident that this Ideas project will reach the 1,000 Supporters milestone very soon.

The Princess Bride: The Guilder Frontier

By FSLeinad

The Princess Bride is loved by many people. FSLeinad has always wanted to see it in LEGO, and therefore created the best set through LEGO Ideas.

The classic The Princess Bride is a 1,000 piece project that contains the three classic duels and the journey through the fire swamp.

This Ideas project is FSLeinad’s only project submitted to LEGO Ideas.

This Ideas project has a solid 7,100 Supporters and nearly two years to achieve the ultimate milestone: 10K Supporters.

Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights

By SleeplessNight

The story: A long time ago the Black Knights ruled the LEGOLAND.

With the fall of LEGOLAND and the arrival of the Royal Knights, their power went into decline, and they were forced into exile. The succession of short-lived kingdoms followed, but none of them managed to bring peace to poor villagers.

The robbers became prevalent and the invasion of Orcs and mythical creatures turned the country to ruins.

SleeplessNight has two Ideas projects. Take a look at The Children of Noisy Village. It is also worthy of support.

This Ideas project has a solid 6,600 Supporters and nearly two years to achieve the ultimate milestone: 10K Supporters.

Another day at the Zoo

By Jonathan291

Welcome to the zoo!

After getting the tickets at the entrance, you can see the ostriches, then turn right and see the parrots and monkeys, pet the starfish and view the crabs.

Continue into the glass tunnel to see the aquarium and walk between the rays, sharks, fish and several other sea-inhabitants.

Can you spot the hidden treasures?

While this Ideas project has only 400 Supporters, it has just under a year to reach the next milestone: 1,000 Supporters.

This is the only Ideas project that Jonathan291 has submitted to LEGO Ideas.

Alice in Wonderland

By szabomate90

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?” is a quote by Lewis Carroll in his book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass

This Ideas project is based on the animated film Alice in Wonderland.

Szabomate90 got inspired to tell Alice’s journey in a way it was never told before. Alice’s dreams have been recreated as small scenes. As many as possible have been connected because nothing’s impossible.

This Ideas project has 3,800 Supporters with a year and a half to reach the next milestone: 5,000 Supporters.

The Aristocats

By dabrick34

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Aristocats!

The building has a garden and two floors with four rooms: on the ground floor, there is the hall, the kitchen and the Edgar’s closet; on the first floor there is the Madame Bonfamille’s room.

The mansion is open behind and it is full of iconic objects.

With only 270 Supporters, this Ideas project has just under a year to reach the next milestone: 1,000 Supporters.

The Notting Hill Market

By Lepralego

This Ideas project is inspired by the Portobello Road Market, one of the most famous street markets in the world, which is located in one of London’s most iconic neighbourhoods: Notting Hill.

With its beautiful pastel townhouses, quaint boutiques and vintage shops painted in hues of lavender, blush, mint green, arctic blue and buttermilk this street scene captures the look and feel of the street market.

This Ideas project has 4,100 Supporters with eighteen months to reach the next milestone: 5,000 Supporters.

Step into the world of Pandora.

Explore its lush rainforest landscape filled with magnificent flora and fauna.

Race your banshee across the Hallelujah Mountains while battling human invaders that seek to plunder the moon’s Unobtanium deposits.
