Freddie Roach has little confidence that McGregor will go more than 6 minutes longer.

There are a lot of delusional MMA fans who think the former UFC champ is a serious threat to one of the most famous modern boxers, Manny Pacquiao. Freddie Roach — a well-known boxing trainer — is not one of these people.

Roach took to Twitter to provide his assessment of the possible matchup and it was not that great.

When this is true, [Manny Pacquiao] will have a better time with you [Conor McGregor] than when he fought [Ricky Hatton].

In 2009, Pacquiao fought Ricky Hatton and concluded the fight with a Crazy Highlight Rally KO in the second round.

McGregor announced that the fight was happening earlier this week and Pacquiao confirmed that the fight was in the works and some of the proceeds would be donated to support victims of coronavirus in the Philippines.

McGregor made his professional boxing debut when he challenged Floyd Mayweather in 2016. With Mayweather, he was available for 10 rounds. McGregor is currently retiring from MMA.
