Warner Brothers’Tom Boulting heads Marshal Bishop Productions
This marks the first appointment to Mary F. Lee in the role of Chief Operating Officer by Marshal Bishop Productions, Mark Westcott and Duncan Goudin’s newly-launched adventure and fact-ent outfit.
Boulting (pictured) will be responsible for the indie growth across the UK and the U.S.
He previously ran Jetset Studios and his creative experiences include program directing on such BBC productions as Eastenders and Casualty and as a photographer.
In April, Marshal Bishop launched a partnership model.
The company’s development slate includes incinct-based reality, survival, endurance and adventure formats and location-based challenge games. In the US, it has already begun an unnamed project.
Jimmy Humphrey and Simona Argenti assume senior roles at Beyond Rights
Beyond Rights has appointed former TCB Media Rights executives Jimmy Humphrey and Simona Argenti as head of acquisitions and coproductions and sales leader respectively.
Humphrey and Argenti had the same positions at TCB before his acquisition by Beyond International in April.
Beyond Rights is directed by former TCB Media Rights executive director Kate Llewellyn-Jones. The unit was created in July after Beyond International TCB Media Rights with Beyond Distribution merged into one.
According to Beyond, the reorganisation has resulted in the retention of a majority of staff. The company has said that seven London-based employees left their respective employers to remove roles, most likely in sales positions.
In June, TCB Media Rights CEO Paul Heaney and Executive Director Dina Subhani stepped down from their posts.
Beyond Rights Limited will eventually consist of a team of 25 people, with offices in London, Sydney and Dublin.
Silverlining secures rights to the NPL Media series.
Bristol specialist factual distributor Silverlining TV secured the rights to the six-part Sky Original Series Rankin 2020 from NPL Media.
The 6-hour series to premiere on September 29 Sky Arts documenting 2020 through a mass participation photography project.
Amateurs and professional photographers were invited to submit photos in six categories — Fun, Family, Beauty, Nature, Self and Empathy — to be judged by acclaimed photographer Rankin and celebrity judges.
Rights for Rankin 2020 are available worldwide except UK and Republic of Ireland.

The series — which truTV called the modern evolution of America’s Funniest Home Videos — follows a fictional group of interns working from the basement of the “NSA” whose jobs are to catalog security camera footage that passes through their servers and captures bizarre and embarrassing behavior.
Top Secret Videos will include commentary by a cast of comedians, including Brian Posehn (The Big Bang Theory), Ron Funches (Trolls), Ali Kolbert (The Tonight Show) and Matt Walsh (Veep).
IPC creator Aaron Saidman and IPC producer Eli Holzman serve as executive producers alongside showrunner Tim Fornara.
