Coroner’s Season 1 finale is just one of the TV crime dramas to watch this week

We’re into the last full week of September, traditionally the time we’d get the premieres of our favorite broadcast shows. That’s not happening this year, but there are still some great TV crime dramas to check out.

Not sure where to find the top offerings of the week? Not even sure what the top offerings of the week are? Here are five good TV crime dramas to watch from Sept. 21 to 25.

Bang Season 2

We’ll start with the TV show to binge-watch throughout the week, giving you something to watch every single day. Bang Season 2 has now dropped on Acorn TV. You caught up on the first season over the weekend, right?

Bang Season 2 sees Gina Jenkins and Luke Lloyd with a new set of crimes to solve. A series of murders seem to be connected to a historic rape allegation. All the men targeted were named by local women in a rape case from 10 years ago. The case never went to trial, so it looks like someone is after vigilante justice.

All six episodes are available at once on Monday, Sept. 21.

One Lane Bridge

Sundance Now is the place to turn for the second of the TV crime dramas to watch. One Lane Bridge Episode 2 drops on Thursday, picking up the story with Ariki in denial about the terrifying presence that is starting to invade his life. He’s awoken a curse and it could affect his career and his life.

The Ryder family also seems to be in denial. As they mourn Grub, truths about various members of the family come to light. Could some of the truths mean that Grub didn’t die by his own hand?

Watch the new episode on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Coroner

You can turn your attention to broadcast for the third offering of the week. Coroner‘s first season finale airs on Wednesday. We have a bit of a wait for Season 2, but it’s going to be worth it.

After the death of a co-worker, Jenny and McAvoy need to work together to solve the case. It’s clear that it’s connected to the serial killer that’s been let out, but will get the concrete evidence they need to put him away for good?

Coroner Season 1, Episode 8 airs on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Agatha Christie’s Partners in Crime

Need a blast from the past? BritBox has you covered with this one. Francesca Annis and James Warick star as Tuppence and Tommy Beresford, the crime-fighting duo in search for enemy spies in 1950’s Britain. They are Scotland Yard’s best secret agents, and they’re the only ones trusted with the cases.

There are 10 episodes available on BritBox at once, making it the perfect binge-watch throughout the week. The episodes drop on Monday, Sept. 22.

Enola Holmes

Finally, it’s all about a movie. Okay, we technically cover TV shows, but this movie is a Netflix Original, so it counts. Enola Holmes is the period crime drama everyone has been talking about, right? Millie Bobby Brown stars as the Holmes sister that is the main character in the book of the same name by Nancy Springer.

We get to see Sherlock and Mycroft’s sister tackle cases and prove her worth. She may be a woman in the 19th century, but she’s not going to let that stop her.

Enola Holmes is on Netflix on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
